Laser Marking is a non contact process used for changing the surface of a material object. Laser marking can be used to mark and identify many plastics, where the laser is used to create a color change in the material. Similar to the color change in plastic, the process of annealing is used on many metals such as stainless steel and titanium to create a change in color of the laser marked area. These are two cases where there is no material loss, below are two laser marking options that do remove material.

We use the BWM Tech 50 watt fiber laser systems.

Main Features :

1.Most advanced.New style fiber laser marking machineis the 3rd-generation laser marking machine which is manufactured by the most advanced laser technology in the current of the word.

2.Delicate marking.High quality laser beam(near to the limit of diffration, exporting TEM00 fundamental transverse mode,M2 near to 1,expanding angle of laser beam is only 1/4 of the diode laser marker). Therefore itis very suitable for delicate marking.

3.High Marking Speed. With high repeat frequency of the pulse, power output steadily, energy surge of single pulse is lower than 1%,can achieve high speed marking, and control the depth and shape of the facula.

4.Comparative advantage. The processing speed is 2-3 times than the  traditional marking mahine

5.Compact design. The size of the machine is very small, potable.Suitable for mobile and fixed working.

6.10years life ,ultra-low running cost. The service life of the laser module if more than 100000hours.The unit power of the whole machine is no more than 0.5kw.

7.High conversion efficiency ,more than30%.

8.Wide range of application. The fiber laser marking machine can mark on all kinds of metal materials and some kinds of nonmetal materials.

Laser engraving, which is a subset of laser marking,[1] is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. Laser marking, on the other hand, is a broader category of methods to leave marks on an object, which also includes color change due to chemical/molecular alteration, charring, foaming, melting, ablation, and more. The technique does not involve the use of inks, nor does it involve tool bits which contact the engraving surface and wear out, giving it an advantage over alternative engraving or marking technologies where inks or bit heads have to be replaced regularly. source

Laser Etching is the process in which you vaporize material from the surface of a part; this process is done mostly on coated parts such as anodized aluminum, powder coating and painted parts.

Laser Engraving is the process by which the laser is used to remove material and create depth to the mark on the part. TopLaserUK can offer deep engraving
